Code of Conduct

Peace Library Sytem is committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.

We expect you not to assume the pronouns of participants and to respect the pronouns indicated. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference organizers and presenters will be sharing pronouns, and encourage participants to do the same wherever possible.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Conference participants violating these rules will be removed from the session at the discretion of the organizers.

Peace Library System gratefully acknowledges the Denver Public Library for sharing this code of conduct with us.
