Welcome to the first annual Peace Library System Symposium, a one-day event for small, northern libraries to come together, exchange ideas, and explore ways to enrich library services and foster community engagement. * This event will follow Peace Library System's annual Public Libraries Meeting, which takes place on Thursday, May 30th at PLS Headquarters.
The symposium theme is Building Buzz: Promote Your Library. With a dedicated focus on marketing and advocacy, the conference will explore techniques to enhance visibility, engage communities, and advocate for the invaluable role our libraries play.
Whether you're a seasoned librarian looking to refresh your approach or a newcomer eager to learn the ropes, the symposium will equip you with tools needed to generate excitement around your library and strengthen its ties with its community.
